I am a daycare provider.

I have done it off and on for years.

One day, recently, I was listening to and responding to one of the children I watch, and my darlin said,

“Can you really understand what she is saying?”

She is two years old, and it does take a little getting used to.

I said, “Yup!”

He said, “You have the ‘gift of tongues!”

I never thought about it before, but…I do!
